A little bit of a deeper dive today.
Let's think about the places you usually give yourself a hard time - the good old guilt trip.
When you think about it, for the most part, guilt and shame are pretty pointless and unpleasant feelings, right?
Yet many of us have been trained into them over the years and have come to understand through our societal conditioning that we should spend our lives feeling bad.
Even when we know, on the surface that we're good, kind, hardworking people, often those subconscious guilt narratives hang around!
Maybe I should say this is usually especially true for good, kind, hardworking people...
But our internal suffering usually does nothing to help us or anyone else - and stops us living our highest and most joyful, purposeful lives...
